Our take
Pastelaria Lento has served custard tarts on Rua Garrett for decades, and it still looks the part: marble counters, mirrors and waiters in white jackets.
It is not a work café, and that is the point. Outlets are rare and the Wi-Fi is basic at 45 Mbps. Mid-morning and late afternoon are calm enough to write. At lunch, give your table to people who came to eat.
