How we test
Every number is measured at a table
One editor, at least two hours on site and the same checks in every city. Here is what goes into each listing.

Every perk has a rule
A perk only goes on a listing when the place meets its rule on the day of our visit.
Fast Wi-Fi
100 Mbps or more, tested at the table.
Plenty of outlets
Most seats can reach an outlet without a cable.
Quiet
Low voices and soft music, or none at all.
Calls OK
Video calls are welcome at the table or in a booth.
Open late
Open until 22:00 or later, at least three days a week.
Day pass
A desk for the day, no membership needed.

Owners can pay to stand out, never for a better review
