Our take
This small reading room on East 9th Street is run by a local library foundation, and most people walk past without noticing it. Inside are twenty seats at long silent tables under a skylight.
It is free, with outlets along both walls. The Wi-Fi tested at 80 Mbps. No calls, no food, no exceptions. The best place in the neighborhood to finish something before a deadline.
