Our take
Second Draft was opened by two novelists who wanted a café where writing comes first. There is no music before noon, the tables are wide, and a sign asks you to take calls outside.
The Wi-Fi tested at 120 Mbps and most tables have an outlet. Open until 22:00 every day, a rare evening option in the Village. Aim for the back room, with its wall of used books.
