Our take
Yanaka is one of the few parts of Tokyo that kept its old streets, and this reading room shares its slow pace: two floors of desks, a small garden and a strict silence rule.
It is free, and every other seat has an outlet. The Wi-Fi tested at 70 Mbps, fine for documents. No calls. Come early on weekends, when students take the best seats. Closed on Mondays.
