Our take
Kissa Hoshi is a classic kissaten: wood panels, velvet chairs, siphon coffee and jazz on vinyl. The owner allows laptops at the counter and the two window tables on weekday mornings.
This is a place for writing, not calls. The Wi-Fi is basic at 40 Mbps and outlets are few, so arrive charged. Order the thick toast and stay a couple of hours. Closed on Sundays.
