Our take
Lesesaal Mitte is a reading room on the top floor of a district library, with white shelves, a glass roof and around eighty seats. Locals call it the best free desk in Berlin.
Ask for a free day card at the entrance. The Wi-Fi tested at 90 Mbps and most seats have power. It is strictly silent, so step out to the stairwell for calls.
